Yoga Tune Up® & The Roll Model Method® (Claire is the only Certified instructor of these methods in Newfoundland!)
This biomechanics based class, Yoga Tune Up® is a fitness therapy format built around the three P's – Pain, Posture and Performance. It helps eradicate pain, improve posture and enhance performance through a unique blend of Corrective Exercise, Self Massage and Yoga. By helping to identify and target your "body blind spots"; areas that are most overused, underused, or misused, YTU heals damaged muscle, increases strength and establishes healthy movement patterns to help you live better in your body.


The Pilates method is a body conditioning system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Joseph Pilates called his exercise method "the Art of Contrology", which refers to the use of the mind to control the body. Pilates is gentle, safe and restorative. It is challenging at all levels from restorative to elite athlete. Pilates training is functional training which integrates the core with limbs for more efficient movement.  Therefore healing and preventing injuries as well as improving performance. Pilates is refreshing. It incorporates breathing,  mind-body centering and therefore relieves stress of day to day modern living.

Total Body Challenge

Move into your next level of fitness! This fun, efficient 30-minute high intensity, metabolic conditioning workout will target muscle groups from every conceivable angle and keep you coming back for more! Challenge yourself using body weight, free weights, Ugi Balls and cardio intervals. Utilizing the 3-2-1 interval approach to whole body circuit training (3 min. of strength, 2 min. of cardio, 1 min. of core) this class integrates all of the most progressive exercise science techniques used by world-class athletes into one program.
*Pre-Requisite is sound knowledge of biomechanics and techniques learned in Yoga Tune Up® and Pilates Props classes. Please check with instructor before signing up. 

Ugi® Ball (only at New Found Movement!)

Ugi® is the ultimate 30-minute workout that combines strength, cardio and core training into the most fun, challenging way of becoming functionally fit. This versatile and efficient workout will compliment Pilates & Yoga routines, to help you reach individualized goals.  The Ugi® ball is a modern twist on the old school medicine ball. It’s weighted, squishy and beautiful and unique. The Ugi® ball works as a functional fitness training tool because it challenges the multiple muscle groups at one time. Something as simple as a game of toss links dozens of muscles working together to adjust to the ball’s flight and unpredictable path.
